REDESIGN & PERFORMANCE

Fix the website you already have.

A slow or frustrating site can lose people before they read a word. You don't always need to start again. I look at the actual bottlenecks and recommend targeted fixes when they make more sense than a rebuild.

Signs it's time for a review

Text that is hard to read on a phone, menus that overflow, contact forms nobody trusts, photos that take too long to load, confusing service pages and calls to action buried below the fold. Those are practical problems a review can identify.

What I check

I begin with the mobile experience, how quickly the main content appears, the layout's stability while loading, whether buttons are easy to tap, navigation paths, page titles, internal links and the conversion journey. Google PageSpeed Insights helps explain performance signals; one synthetic score isn't the whole customer experience.

Improvements before a rebuild

Images can often be resized, unnecessary scripts reduced, fonts simplified, layouts tightened and the enquiry process improved without throwing out everything. I'll look for changes that matter to visitors first.

When a rebuild is worth it

A rebuild makes sense when your platform makes basic improvements difficult, the content architecture no longer matches the business or important features are fragile. I explain what can be kept, what needs replacing and what happens to existing URLs.

Keep your search visibility

If URLs change, plan redirects before launch. Keep genuinely useful content, update canonical URLs and the sitemap, and avoid creating repetitive location pages just to chase keywords. Search results can fluctuate; I don't promise a ranking.

Get a practical assessment

Send the current website address and tell me what worries you: speed, enquiry volume, mobile design, SEO or ongoing maintenance. I'll discuss whether a focused fix or a new build is more sensible. One-off work and reporting are $160 per hour; larger jobs are quoted.
